Ms. Tilker , a senior partner in our firm, has once again been named as a Super Lawyer in the area of Workers Compensation by Super Lawyers magazine. We are very proud that Barbara has been chosen for this honor. She was also the recipient of this prestigious award in 2007.

Ms. Tilker is a graduate of New York University and St. John's University School of Law. She has over twenty-five years experience in the practice of social security disability law and has served as President of the New York State Social Security Bar Association. Her articles on social security disability have been published in the New York State Trial Lawyers Quarterly and the Bill of Particulars. Ms. Tilker has lectured extensively on this subject to groups for the disabled and unions. She has made presentations to the Social Security Practice and Procedure Lecture Series, the New York State Trial Lawyers Institute, the Nassau County Bar Association Academy of Law and the Suffolk County Bar Association Academy of Law. She has been on public service radio and cable television commenting on the topic of social security disability. Her current memberships include the National Organization of Social Security Claimants' Representatives and the Nassau County Women's Bar Association.
