The personal injury department is headed up by Senior Partner Robert Fishman who also serves as the senior supervising attorney. The other partners in the department are Vincent Gonzalez and Elliot Schaktman. The department handles a wide variety of cases arising from construction site accidents, motor vehicle accidents, slip and/or trip and falls at residential, commercial and municipal locations, elevator accidents, medical malpractice and product liability. The department also includes a number of associate attorneys and a large support staff including paralegals and clerks.
The most up-to-date computer technology is utilized to better represent our clients, whether it be for discovering levels of insurance coverage to maximize a client's recovery, finding the identities of property owners or business owners, tracking a client's case electronically in the New York State Court computer system, or staying abreast of the constant changes which take place in the state courts and legislature.
Each case we handle is prepared as if it is going to trial. While many of the cases are settled prior to actually beginning a trial, our experienced trial attorneys are ready to go to verdict if necessary to get what you deserve.
